• Linux PCs in lab B103 are malfunctioning when Proteas is down even though secondary DNS server is configured and is working properly.

Week 2

• Investigate DHCP problems

• What happens when primary DNS is down and DCHP servers has to add a new entry?
• How we can solve the problem when the server that has leased an IP address to a client is down and the client wants to renew its IP address.
• Solve the problem with _ entries.
• Solve the problem when a client which is already listed in the DNS requests a new IP address (mainly laptops that received IP address before using their Ethernet adapter and later request IP address using their Wireless adapter.
