Labs and Students Support Group
Until January 20:
Install Printer HP2200 to Graduate Lab 201(hp1-201 ?)Done 11/01/2006- Install Opnet Application Capture Agents to 201 lab ???
- Prepare new programm for epithrhtes
Clear local profiles from all lab machines- Order maintenance kit for HP1-B123 and HP1-L0
- Prepare and place new PCs (Fujitsu Siemens) for 201 (How many???)
Set bios passwords for administrator and also user (not to get mac addresses)not possible- Check all DLP`s in labs.
Deny access to domain users to command "getmac"Done 11/01/2006- Stop sychronization by some users to Windows machines (sychronize only when they are logging off - NOT always)
- Find a way to change SID to each PC ???

Until January 20:
- Install Print Manager Plus s/w?? or postponed it for next semester
Until May 31:
- TSM
- Install 2 HDD
- Reconfiguration of policies
- Include new ultirum drive in set-up
- Prepare a "new Electra" with IIS etc
- Format Electra
- Set an internal MYSQL server and move all DBs on it
- Prepare a new Astarti (www2n)
- Move most if not all of www2 to www2n
- Format and prepare Astarti
- Review and remove old students,faculty,research a/cs
- Finish with TrendMicro server set-up - resolve some problems
- Prepare and finalize Server Storage Plan
- DHCP and DNS server upgrade
Networks and Security Group

- Revision of the VLAN schedule, primary aim to assign private IPs to most of our systems especially the Research Labs.
31-May-2005
- Wireless network - phase 1
- Properly install and test accees points without any AA scheme - good old open way
- See if we van put these access points in a dual VLAN mode so that they work for both the newcampus and zephyros SSID
